The inaction of the city administration led to a sewer burst

      The Kirov administration ignored the problem for four years. Meanwhile, a similar situation occurred in April 2021. Then, due to unauthorized and uncoordinated work with the owner of the network on the construction of a parking lot for heavy trucks, the ground collapsed at the sewer collector, which led to the ingress of dozens of cubic meters of clay and sand to the main pumping station and the city's aeration station. The owner of the networks eliminated the consequences of the accident — repaired and replaced the engine, sediments and damping chambers of the pressure collector, installed a sarcophagus at his own expense, which cost the company about 15 million rubles.

      The city administration was warned that it is absolutely impossible to conduct activities related to constant pressure on the ground at the location of the collector, and moreover, it is criminal. Appeals to the authorities did not help - the Avtokomfort company continued to conduct commercial activities on this site and throughout all these years heavy equipment was operated and advertised here. And the site was covered with rubble and compacted. Due to the fact that heavy trucks were constantly driving around the site, creating vibration and pressure on the ground, the situation repeated itself.

      For now, the owner of the networks is deciding how to fix the problem — to disassemble the blockage manually or with the help of machinery. It is also not known whether the sarcophagus is damaged. Kirovsky BHZ, Avitek, and Rosplazma are connected to CNS No. 7. In addition, there is the Ganino residential neighborhood and consumers of housing and communal services in the southwestern district of Kirov. According to the metering devices, KNS No. 7, with a pipe diameter of 1200 mm, pumps more than 1,000 cubic meters of sewage per hour during peak hours.
