Most Kirov residents are still choosing where to go on vacation

      The majority of residents of the Kirov region have not yet decided on their exact vacation plans: 70% of the surveyed people continue to choose dates and destinations. At the same time, one in five has already had a rest, and 10% are not going to take a vacation at all this year, experts found out. hh.ru .

      The most popular vacation months are summer — June, July and August. Some of the respondents plan a vacation in September, preferring the velvet season. At this time, there are fewer tourists at the resorts, and the cost of accommodation is noticeably reduced.

      In summer, beach resorts are most often chosen — primarily Krasnodar Territory, Crimea, Turkey and Abkhazia. In winter, interest in mountainous and northern destinations is growing: Sochi, Sheregesh, Elbrus region, Karelia and Murmansk region. In the off—season, cities with excursions, museums, and gastronomy are popular - both large tourist centers and small towns like Ples, Rybinsk, and Svetlogorsk.

      Among the people booking hotels, the Krasnodar Territory, St. Petersburg and Moscow are the most in demand. Turkey, Abkhazia, Belarus, China and Italy are most often chosen from foreign destinations. Only 1% of the respondents chose the Kirov region itself as a place for a summer vacation.

      The most popular recreation format among residents of the region has become active — 52% of respondents prefer it. The second place is taken by beach resorts, the third place is taken by vacations at the cottage or at home. Sightseeing trips, spa hotels and sanatoriums are also in demand.

      Vacation expenses vary: 20% are willing to spend over 100,000 rubles, and a third have not yet decided on a budget. The most common plans are in the range of 20 to 60 thousand rubles. Some residents of the region intend to spend a vacation for a minimum amount of up to 20 thousand rubles.
