Kirov region strengthens cooperation with Serbia
The Kirov region continues to develop international relations. Cooperation with Serbia has become one of the areas of cooperation. This was announced by Governor Alexander Sokolov at a government meeting.
Recently, the Governor received a letter from the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Serbia to Russia. It expressed gratitude for the active participation of the region in the development of bilateral relations, as well as for the invitation to the presentation of the Kirov region, which took place in October at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.
During the event, the region presented its economic, investment and tourism potential to the diplomats of 37 countries. The Serbian side showed particular interest in the presentation, after which work began on possible joint projects.
According to our officials, Serbia is one of the trading partners of the Kirov region. Prospects for cooperation in such areas as industry and agriculture are currently being discussed.
