A young judoka from Slobodsky rose to the podium of the Russian Championship
On June 1-2, the Russian Judo Championship among boys and girls under 15 was held in Saratov on the basis of the Proton Arena sports complex. The competition was dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. 243 athletes from 53 regions of Russia representing the national teams of the federal districts took to the tatami.
Margarita Kasatkina, a young athlete from Slobodsky, was also a member of the PFD national team. According to the results of the team competition, Margarita became the bronze medalist.
Oleg Valenchuk, State Duma Deputy and President of the Kirov Region Judo Federation, congratulated the athlete and her coach Alizamin Huseynov on this well-deserved success.
