Ten bridges are being repaired in the Kirov region

      Ten bridges are being actively repaired in the Kirov region. Five facilities are located on regional highways, and five more are on local roads, the government said at a meeting.

      According to officials, the work is proceeding at a good pace, and it is already nearing completion at many facilities. Temporary traffic has been organized on some sections, and traffic lights have been installed to regulate traffic during rush hours.

      Repairs have been completed on one of the important facilities — the bridge over the Voya River. Earlier, a span collapsed here, and traffic was organized at a temporary ferry. Acceptance of works is planned in the near future.

      On other bridges, such as the Kokshaga, Luga, Poloy and Shurminka River crossings, construction work has been completed by 30-72%. They are scheduled to be completed in the fall.
