The demand for traumatologists has increased dramatically in the Kirov region

      Since the beginning of 2025, the labor market in the Kirov region has shown a sharp increase in demand for trauma surgeons. According to analysts, the number of vacancies for specialists in this field increased by 85% compared to the same period in 2024. For comparison, the increase in Moscow was only 15%.

      The Kirov Region is also among the regions with some of the highest salary offers in the country. The median salary of a traumatologist here is 115 thousand rubles, which is 18 thousand more than the national average (96 thousand 743 rubles) and 5 thousand higher than a year earlier.

      For comparison, higher incomes for doctors of this specialty are offered in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District and the Kurgan Region (175 thousand rubles each), as well as in Moscow (148.8 thousand), Sakhalin, Komi and Yakutia. Nevertheless, the Kirov region has surpassed many large regions in terms of income.

      Experts attribute the growing interest in this profession to an increase in the workload of trauma departments and a shortage of personnel, especially in the regions.
