In Yaransky district, an entrepreneur who digs pine trees may receive a "criminal record"

      Residents of the village of Lom, Yaransky district, complained to the ONF about an entrepreneur who digs up hundreds of pine trees with roots and takes them to an unknown destination. After that, deep pits remain in place, in which small animals die. A similar situation happened four years ago.

      It turned out that the trees grow on agricultural lands where, according to the law, there should be no forests — because of this, the entrepreneur cannot be held accountable for digging up pines. However, the ONF expressed the hope that the Rosselkhoznadzor would be able to detect a violation of the fertile soil layer and achieve at least filling of the pits.

      So, on May 6, employees of the Rosselkhoznadzor Administration for the Kirov region, the Udmurt Republic and the Perm Territory left for the site. During the inspection, they recorded about 400 holes filled with earth, from which trees with a clod of earth were excavated on a total area of 615.44 square meters.m

      . The trees were dug by a citizen who signed a clearing agreement with the landowner according to the land reclamation project and the project of cultural and technical land reclamation. As a result, multiple violations of the requirements of the legislation of the Russian Federation were revealed.

      Yesterday, on May 20, the Management issued warnings to the owner of the land and the person who dug up the trees. In addition, it turned out that the damage caused to the environment exceeded 2 million 490 thousand rubles. The materials were sent to the Yaransk interdistrict Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in order to consider the initiation of a criminal case under Article 246 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation against violators.
