Construction of two schools continues in Kirov
The Ministry of Construction spoke about the progress of work on two construction sites in Kirov, where schools are being built. Both facilities are being built as part of the National Youth and Children project.
The school in Kurochkiny settlement will be designed for 1,100 students. Doors have already been installed in one of the buildings and finishing works are almost completed, the building's readiness level reaches 95%. In the second building, the finishing of classrooms and gyms, as well as the construction of a swimming pool, continues. The installation of engineering systems has been completed and landscaping is underway throughout the school.
The second school is being built at Stroiteley Avenue, 29. It will be able to accommodate 1,000 students. The building's readiness exceeds 80%. Two elevators have already been installed at the facility, and a third is being installed. Workers are engaged in finishing, laying engineering networks and continuing landscaping of the surrounding area. The laying of the football field with artificial turf has been completed.
Both schools are scheduled to be commissioned in the summer of 2025, the Ministry of Construction said.
