The Department of Internal Affairs "Prikamye" could not answer about the condition of the bridge over the Moloma
Recall that in early May, the government of the Kirov region, with reference to specialists from the Federal State Budgetary Institution Updor Prikamye, which is engaged in the restoration of the cracked bridge over the Moloma River, reported that traffic on the bridge would be opened in three weeks — by the end of May. Later, it became known from unofficial sources that the time frame for repairing the bridge and opening traffic on it could be delayed.
Last week, the public "Spasskoe on the Pier", citing its sources, reported that a commission from Moscow allegedly came to the repair site. "Specialists examined the problematic span of the bridge leveled by express methods and said that "this will not work." Now the road workers will probably have to accomplish another feat, seriously getting down to business, and not just completely leveling, but repairing and strengthening the entire bridge structure. Perhaps the sagging span will even have to be completely replaced," the authors of the publication said.
Newsler.ru Wanting to find out information from an official source, I sent a request to the Federal State Budgetary Institution of the Russian Federation "Prikamye", which contained quite ordinary, non-secret questions, which are not difficult to answer for those who are actually familiar with the situation and keep the progress of restoration work under control and have no probable reasons for hiding or suppressing information. However, in response we received what can be called a "reply" with a very big stretch. In fact, this answer resembles the waste products of a living organism, which is considered bad form to talk about in a decent society: "Good afternoon! If you have a similar expert opinion, we would be interested to read it. And we are very sorry that the "commission from Moscow" informed you about its visit in the first place, and not us, the owners of the federal road," the Department of Internal Affairs of Prikamye informed us (the quote is given in full, there is correspondence in the editorial office – editor's note).
In this "reply" There is no answer to any of the questions we have asked. In particular, we asked about the current condition of the Moloma Bridge. What kind of work needs to be done on the bridge to make it accessible to public transport. And — estimated dates for the completion of bridge repairs and the opening of traffic on it.
From this "unsubscription", it can be concluded that the Department may not know what is really happening on the long-suffering Moloma Bridge, which has cracked several times over the past few years. Or, which can also be assumed, based on the information from this "unsubscription", they know, but for some reason they do not want to disclose the real state of affairs. However, these are just assumptions. And the facts that indicate that the media cannot receive the requested information indicate that "refusal to provide the requested information is possible only if it contains information constituting a state, commercial or other secret specially protected by law, about which a notification must be sent to the media within three days."
Perhaps the Moloma Bridge and the road itself, on which it is located, suddenly became "a state, commercial or specially legally protected secret." However, there is certainly a mystery there. However, probably not on a state scale, but on a regional scale. Otherwise, how can one explain the fact that neither the regional government nor the Department of Internal Affairs "Prikamye" officially denied the information that traffic on the bridge would not open on the previously announced dates. And they did not assure that it would be safe, and that the bridge would not crack after repairs for the third time.
