The head of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation became interested in the problem of the Kirov disabled child
A resident of Kirov appealed to the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation regarding the violation of the rights of her 13-year-old son, who is disabled, the regional investigative committee reported. According to the woman, since June last year, in accordance with the decision of the medical commission, the boy suffering from the disease has been receiving targeted therapy with a certain drug. But in February of this year, the relevant structure decided to replace the vital medicine given to the child with its equivalent.
The Kirov resident said that this led to a significant deterioration in her son's condition and the occurrence of side effects. The boy's mother appealed to various authorities, but it did not bring results.
According to the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Kirov region, the agency is conducting a procedural check on this fact. Alexander Bastrykin, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, instructed Andrey Vinogradov, head of the regional investigative committee, to report on the preliminary and final results of the inspection, putting it under control at the central office of the department.
