Landscaping of memorial areas is being completed in Kirov

      According to the city administration, work is nearing the final stage at the stele on the Green embankment. "Granite has been delivered to the monument, after which a new star of Eternal Flame will be installed. The bas-relief was restored, the walls were reinforced, the elements of the memorial were plastered and painted," the Kirov Mayor's office reported. The work at the Eternal Flame began on March 24 of this year and should be completed by April 30.A new star will be installed on the Eternal Flame in Victory Park. In the near future, the contractor will begin the installation of a new slab. The stele and the retaining wall have also been painted here, the bas-relief renovation is being completed, tiles have been laid in the subsidence areas, and flower beds have been updated.

      Work on the arrangement and connection of the Eternal Flame on Victory Square in the Novovyatsky district is nearing completion. A star has been installed in this memorial area, paving stones are being continued, and plans are underway to renovate the retaining wall. The overhaul of the memorial at the recreation center "Russia" in the Novovyatsky district is coming to an end.

      In Leninsky, the pedestal of the monuments to Marshal Konev is being repaired. GDM performs landscaping at the memorial area: paved playgrounds and pedestrian areas.The city administration noted that the cemeteries are putting the driveways in order, and memorials, commemorative plaques and plaques on the graves of participants in the Great Patriotic War are being updated. All work on the improvement of memorial areas should be completed by May 1.
