Kirov residents will be allowed to close their sick days remotely

      On April 28, a pilot project will be launched in the Kirov region, which will allow local residents to close their sick days without visiting a polyclinic. This opportunity will be available to patients who have had acute respiratory viral infections or cared for sick family members.

      The procedure for remote closure of the sick leave will be carried out with the consent of the patient himself and after mandatory telephone consultation with the attending physician. The doctor will inform the patient about this possibility at the opening of the sick leave. The day before the expected closing date, an employee of the polyclinic will contact the patient and warn them about the doctor's call the next day from 8 to 12 o'clock. The call will be received from the official phone number of the medical institution.

      The Ministry of Health noted that it is possible to close the hospital remotely only in the complete absence of complaints and symptoms of the disease. If symptoms persist or new ones have appeared, the patient must come to the clinic for an appointment. You will also need a visit if, for some reason, the patient did not answer the doctor's call at the set time.
