The KCHK branch allocated more than 368 million rubles for labor protection, industrial and fire safety in 2024.
Most of the funds were allocated for labor protection: providing employees with personal protective equipment and work clothes, conducting a special assessment of working conditions, technical measures to eliminate risks, as well as training on labor protection.
An industrial safety examination of the equipment was carried out in the company's divisions — its technical inspection to assess the condition and compliance with all standards. A large amount of work has been carried out to eliminate defects in service areas and stairs. A ventilation system has been installed in one of the units. An important event was the replacement of control and measuring devices in the ammonia production shop with more modern and reliable ones.
Last year, new automatic fire extinguishing systems, fire alarms, warning systems and evacuation control systems were installed in the production workshops of the KCHK branch. Fire dry pipes have been installed in several workshops to supply water to the upper elevations of high-rise buildings. Maintenance and performance tests of all fire protection systems were carried out in accordance with the schedules.
Yuri Shulga, Director of the KCHK branch of Uralchem, shared: "The KCHK branch systematically invests in occupational safety, industrial and fire safety. This is one of Uralchem's priorities. The activities carried out not only contribute to improving working conditions, but also form a safety culture at the enterprise."
