
A law enforcement officer almost divulged state secrets
In the Kirov region, a law enforcement officer used a computer connected to the Internet to process and store documents containing state secrets. The FSB officers did not allow violations of the legislation of the Russian Federation. There was no disclosure or loss of classified information.
A warning has been issued to a law enforcement officer in the Kirov region of the Federal Security Service of Russia about the inadmissibility of actions that create conditions for committing a crime under Part 1 of Article 283 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (disclosure of state secrets). The penalty for committing such a crime is imprisonment for up to 4 years.
