A criminal case has been opened on the fact of the collapse of the facade of the house in a breakdown.
Recall that on April 18, in the village of Polom, Kirovo-Chepetsky district, the facade of an apartment building on Truda Street partially collapsed. As reported in the regional government, there were no casualties. The non-residential part of the building collapsed.
The Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Kirov region organized a pre-investigation check on the incident. As a result of the inspection, a criminal case was opened under Part 1 of Article 293 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (negligence).
According to preliminary data, the collapse became possible due to improper performance of duties by officials of the municipal authorities of the Kirovo-Chepetsky district, who did not take measures to repair the facade and roof of the house in a timely manner. At the moment, the investigator is establishing all the circumstances of the incident.
