
A resident of Kirovo-Chepetsk was brought to criminal responsibility for non-payment of alimony
A criminal case has been opened in Kirovo-Chepetsk against a 43-year-old local resident who evaded paying alimony for her minor children. The reason for the investigation was the materials of an inspection conducted by the city prosecutor's office.
As established in the supervisory authority, the woman, despite her ability to work and the presence of a court decision, from June to October 2024, deliberately did not transfer alimony for the maintenance of two daughters aged 6 and 8 years. By this time, the amount of debt exceeded 140 thousand rubles.
Previously, the woman had already been brought to administrative responsibility for non-payment of alimony. Taking this into account, the prosecutor's office sent the verification materials to the preliminary investigation authorities, which resulted in a criminal case under Part 1 of Article 157 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (non-payment of funds for the maintenance of children or disabled parents).
The investigation is under the control of the Prosecutor's Office. At the moment, a woman has limited parental rights. The children were removed from the family and transferred to a state institution.
