Recyclables are becoming a trend: cities are being transformed by recycled waste

      The recycling of materials is gaining momentum, proving that waste is a valuable resource. More and more cities and enterprises are implementing innovative solutions, turning garbage into functional and aesthetically attractive objects.

      In Yekaterinburg, citizens can relax on benches and throw garbage into bins made of recycled plastic. According to the city services, it took 1.7 tons of plastic to be recycled to create 13 benches and 36 urns, which significantly reduced the load on landfills and reduced the negative impact on the environment.

      The capital's coffee shops are also keeping up with the trend. In some establishments in Moscow, unusual furniture has appeared, made using recycled plastic, or rather, coffee lids. An environmentally responsible approach allows us to give a second life to waste and draw the attention of visitors to the problems of recycling. It takes 485 lids to make one chair, and 125 for a bag stand.

      In addition to furniture and outdoor objects, recycled materials are used in the manufacture of tableware. Safe and durable lunch containers, glasses, plates and kitchen spatulas are created from straw plastic consisting of polypropylene and wheat straw. Due to its strength and resistance to temperature changes, such tableware becomes an excellent alternative to traditional materials.

      The transformation of recyclables into useful and in-demand items not only solves the problem of plastic waste disposal, but also contributes to the restoration of the environment, which corresponds to the goals of the national project "Ecological well-being". Experts note that the development of waste recycling is an important step towards sustainable development and conservation of the planet's resources for future generations.
