      The GDMS said that workers began work on the section from Pavel Korchagin St. to the monument to fallen soldiers in early April: they dismantled the old side stone, raised the necks of the wells, and formed a base of rubble. Asphalt paving is currently underway.

      The Kirov City Hall noted that contractors' work on putting memorial areas and approaches to them in order is carried out under the supervision of deputies of the Kirov City Duma. For example, Deputy Yuri Shlemenson checked the progress of landscaping on Klubnaya Street. He noted that the issue of repairing this sidewalk was repeatedly raised at the public council. "Together with the city administration, we managed to fulfill the wishes of the residents. Adjustments have been made to the contractor's work: in addition to the pedestrian zone on Klubnaya Street, exits to residential buildings will also be made," the deputy noted.

      Work on the improvement of the pedestrian zone is also underway at Victory Park on Lomnosova St., in the village of Krasny and on Lenin St. in the Novovyatsky district.
