Kirov boxer Maxim Kuznetsov won silver at an international tournament, the regional government reported. The final of the Great Silk Road took place today, April 15.
16 representatives of the Russian national team performed in the final of the tournament, among them Maxim Kuznetsov, a Kirov boxer and a graduate of the Yunost Olympic Reserve sports school.
"In the decisive battle, the Kirov athlete met Baglan Kenzhnbekov. Maxim confidently spent three rounds, but lost by a split decision to a boxer from Kazakhstan," the regional Ministry of Sports noted.
It should be noted that Maxim Kuznetsov is already the winner of the Russian Championship, the European Cup, the BRICS Games and the Russian Cup-2025.
