In the Kirov region, a nurse was credited with seniority after the intervention of the prosecutor's office

      The Vyatskopolyansk interdistrict prosecutor's office of the Kirov region conducted an audit of the implementation of legislation on pension provision and social protection of citizens. The reason for the intervention was the refusal of the regional branch of the pension and social insurance fund to grant an early insurance pension to a nurse due to allegedly insufficient work experience.

      During the inspection, it was established that the applicant had indeed performed the duties of a nurse during the disputed periods, and had also taken advanced training courses without leaving her main place of work. Despite this, the territorial authorities of the foundation did not include these periods in her work experience.

      To protect the rights of a citizen, the prosecutor's office sent a statement of claim to the court to establish a legal fact. The court agreed with the arguments of the supervisory authority and granted the claim.

      As a result, the medical worker was credited with the full length of service required for the appointment of an early insurance pension from the moment of her initial application to the pension authorities.
