Kirov residents are urged to hand over recyclables on time
The regional operator reported that recently there have been more frequent cases of leaving bags with recyclables at the eco-center, eco-house and eco-point. Some people systematically do this outside of reception hours. However, this practice, despite good intentions, creates a number of problems that negate the benefits of separate collection.
Abandoned packages with second-hand resources contradict the rules of landscaping and ecological lifestyle. So, the bags left behind lead to littering of the site, and the fractions become polluted. Unfortunately, instead of going for processing, such raw materials end up at the landfill.
Kirov residents are strongly asked to hand over sorted and clean recyclables during the working hours of reception points:
ecocenter: from Tuesday to Friday — from 11:00 to 19:00, on Saturday — from 11:00 to 18:00, Sunday and Monday — weekends;
eco—house: from Tuesday to Friday — from 10:00 to 19:00, on Saturday — from 10:00 to 18:00, Sunday and Monday - weekends;
eco—center: from Tuesday to Friday — from 10:00 to 19:00 (lunch - from 14:00 to 14:48), on Saturday — from 10:00 to 18:00 (lunch — from 13:00 to 14:48), Sunday and Monday — weekend.
Experts note that the formation of an eco-cultural lifestyle, implying responsible consumption and proper waste management, is an important area in the work of the national project "Environmental well-being". Proper waste management is a direct contribution to improving the environmental situation and preserving natural resources.
