A resident of the Sovetsky district shot down two enemy drones with a kalash

The Russian Ministry of Defense told about the actions of Denis P., a corporal from the Sovetsky district, who is serving in the special operation zone. The Kirov resident was drafted during the mobilization as a driver, but in his area he distinguished himself as an infantryman.

Denis P. performed a combat mission in the DPR: as part of a group, he delivered provisions and ammunition to the front lines. Moving through the forest belt, our countryman noticed an enemy drone, with which the enemy was correcting mortar fire. From a convenient position, our countryman opened fire on the enemy drone with his AK-47 assault rifle. The aerial target was hit, and the group continued moving.

A little later, Denis noticed the enemy's drone again: the enemy drone was performing an attacking maneuver and was preparing to drop a bomb on the detachment. The corporal showed composure, did not hide from the drone and opened fire on it. The downed drone veered off course and fell to the side, harming no one.

The Russian Defense Ministry noted that thanks to the competent actions of our countryman, his squad completed the combat mission without losses: provisions and ammunition were delivered to the front line on time.
