
Oleg Valenchuk congratulated residents of Novovyatsky district on their 70th anniversary
On March 28, Mayak Recreation Center hosted a gala evening dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Novovyatsk. As Svetlana Khokhryakova, deputy head of the Kirov city administration and head of the territorial administration for the Novovyatsky district, noted at the opening of the evening, the district is becoming more beautiful, more cozy and more comfortable every year.
The history of Novovyatsk is inextricably linked with the names of outstanding people: Heroes of the Soviet Union: Nikolai Grukhin, Alexander Rukhlyadyev and Alexander Oparin – symbols of courage and heroism, their exploits serve as an example for future generations. Honorary citizens of Novovyatsk – Pantelei Kushkov, Lev Gusakov, Ivan Skurikhin and Lyudmila Kulikova – made an invaluable contribution to the development of the district in various fields. Their names have become synonymous with hard work, dedication and love for their native land. The pride of Novovyatsk is the full holders of the Order of Glory, Alexander Orlov and Nikolai Zorin, as well as numerous holders of the Order of Lenin, honored teachers, workers in industry, culture, healthcare and trade.
Oleg Valenchuk, a State Duma deputy, congratulated the Novovyatichs from the stage.
Over seventy years of hard work and dedication, Novovyatsk has transformed from two working-class villages into a developed area with a rich history and vibrant culture," the parliamentarian noted. - This is the merit of every resident who has invested his hard work, mind and talent in the prosperity of his small homeland. Your energy, tireless work and sincere concern for the well–being of the district are the key to further development and success.
As a gift to the residents of the district, Oleg Valenchuk performed the song "The Anthem of Vyatka", and also presented Letters of thanks from a State Duma deputy to particularly distinguished Novovyatichs.
But not only the names of the heroes make up the history of Novovyatsk. This includes infrastructure development, such as the construction of residential buildings, schools, hospitals, and cultural centers. This is the flourishing of industry, the creation of new jobs. On this day, according to the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR, the workers' settlements of Vyatsky and Lesozavodsky merged to form the city of regional subordination of Novo-Vyatsk, now known as Novovyatsky district.
