A man from Malmyzh was illegally "cut out" of five years of service
The Malmyzhsky district Prosecutor's Office conducted an audit of the implementation of legislation on social protection of citizens' rights and pension provision.
According to the regional prosecutor's office, it was established that the territorial authorities of the regional branch of the Pension and Social Insurance Fund of the Russian Federation, due to typos in the translation of the submitted documents, illegally refused to include in the insurance record a 55-year-old local resident of the period of employment at enterprises with difficult working conditions in 1985-1990. During these years, the man also participated in a geological exploration expedition. The lack of this length of service affected the size of the preferential insurance pension.
In order to protect the man's pension rights, the prosecutor appealed to the court with a claim for recognition of the legal fact and crediting the disputed period to the man's insurance record. After reviewing the case, the court satisfied the prosecutor's demands and decided to recalculate the pension from the man's initial appeal to the pension authorities.From April 1, social pensions in the Kirov region will increase by 14.75%. Russians want a pension of almost 50,000 rubles, and residents of Kirov will receive slightly more modest pensions until February 25.
