The Veterinary Department will pay a first-grader compensation for a dog bite

      Let us remind you that at the end of February, a terrible incident occurred in Yaransk: a first-grader was attacked by a dog and bit his face. At that time, the government of the Kirov region noted that the dog most likely had an owner, since it was wearing a collar. However, it did not seem to be possible to "catch" the owners.

      The Yaransky district Prosecutor's Office filed a lawsuit to recover compensation for moral damage. The requirements are addressed to the regional veterinary authorities, since the organization of events in the implementation of activities for the treatment of animals without owners falls within their competence.
