According to the Kirov City Hall, with the onset of favorable weather conditions, the second stage of reconstruction will begin on Rudnitsky Street. Vyacheslav Simakov, the city manager, who visited the street, noted that the neighborhood is actively being built up, and a school is under construction. "Along with social facilities, all the necessary infrastructure should appear. The neighborhood will receive a new road, previously there was only an unpaved surface," Simakov said.
It is planned to arrange road clothes and lay asphalt concrete pavement on the 240-meter-long section. Sidewalks will also be equipped there, lighting and landscaping will be installed.
The deadline for the completion of the second stage of reconstruction is July 1. The contractor's representative noted that last year the entire complex of planned works was completed here, including the reconstruction of underground networks, the construction of storm sewers, the construction of a roadway and pedestrian zones, signs were installed, landscaping was done.
