A man who staged a robbery is being tried in Kirov.

      In the last days of December last year, operatives of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Regional Ministry of Internal Affairs, together with colleagues from the police department No. 2 of the City Ministry of Internal Affairs, detained a resident of Kotlos, Arkhangelsk region. The man was suspected of committing robbery.

      Thus, an investigator of the department for the investigation of crimes in the Pervomaisky district of the SU of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the city of Kirov opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Part 2 of Article 162 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. During the investigation, it turned out that the man used pepper spray and took away a phone worth about 20 thousand rubles from the victim, who came to Kirov from the Udmurt Republic. He sold the stolen smartphone and spent the money. The accused was in custody for the duration of the investigation.

      Upon completion of the investigation, the criminal case was sent to the Pervomaisky District Court of Kirov for consideration on the merits.
