The XX All-Russian Festival of Decorative and Applied Art "Fantasy and Image" was successfully held in Vyatka

      On the last day of winter, Vyatka State University once again became the venue for the All-Russian Festival of Decorative and Applied Art "Fantasy and Image". In addition to the largest university in the region, the organizers of the celebration, held for the 20th time, were the House of Children's Creativity "Inspiration", the Kirov Technological College, the Foundation for Support of Education, Creativity and Sports "Our Future". 

      Yuri Kuvaldin, Vice Rector for Youth Policy and Educational Activities at Vyatka State University, addressed the audience. In addition to the traditional words of greeting to the participants of the competition and the audience, Yuri Ivanovich drew attention to the anniversary date, which was recently celebrated by Vyatka State University Professor Galina Nekrasova, who made an invaluable contribution to the development of the creative festival movement. In a solemn atmosphere, Galina Nikolaevna received congratulations from colleagues of her native Department of Technology and Methods of Teaching Technology, as well as the Department of Design and Fine Arts, the Faculty of Technology, Engineering and Design, the Polytechnic Institute of Vyatka State University, and the entire Vyatka State University. The heads of art houses and children's groups also took the stage. To the applause of the audience, they also presented flowers to the hero of the day and said warm words. 

      You are a real bridge between schoolchildren and the university," said Maria Lopatina, head of the school of young fashion designers "Kudesnitsa". There is no doubt about it!

      Professor Galina Nekrasova became a member of the jury of the competition of collections of fashion theaters and individual models – the opening part of the festival, the longest in time and attracting the largest number of viewers. Together with her, this competition was evaluated by Anastasia Khudyakova, a fashion designer from ArtLen LLC, a graduate of Vyatka State University, and Elena Renzhina, a costume designer, a highly qualified CPC teacher, who headed the jury of the festival as a whole. The presented collections and individual models impressed the audience with original ideas, a high level of execution, and a variety of materials. Graceful princesses and beautiful ladies, graceful swans and touching cranes, inimitable artists of the "Magic Circus" and daring girls "on the move", humanized natural elements and literally brilliant characters of "neon dreams" - these and other images have created an exciting, enchanting, unforgettable show for every viewer. As usual, many authors turned to folk motifs, including Vyatka aesthetics directly. We also note the artistry of the speakers: getting used to the created images, the desire to reveal them as fully and vividly as possible was truly impressive!

      Any participant in the competition show has already become a winner: after all, he made an important contribution to the creation of a grand celebration on stage and in the auditorium, became a source of inspiration for many and certainly someone's undisputed favorite. And the jury, as usual, named the winners and prize-winners. 

      Fashion Theater Collections Competition

      Age group 11-13 years old

      3rd place: - Grazia Fashion Theater (Omutninsk) – collection "Fashion tribute from the present to the past";- exemplary amateur collective fashion theater "Griset" (Doronichi) – "Vyatka patterns"; 2nd place: exemplary amateur collective fashion theater "Griset" (Doronichi) – "Neon dreams"; 1st place: exemplary children's collective children's and youth fashion theater "Visit" - "Fortitude".

      The age group is 14-18 years old

      3rd place: - Kapriz Fashion Theater - "The Cranes are Flying";- children's association "Designing and modeling of clothes" (Yaransk) – "Butterfly effect";- Inspiration Fashion Theater - "The Secret of Flora";- Prestige Fashion Theater (Pyzhanka) – Magic Circus; 2nd place: - Prestige Fashion Theater (Kotelnich) – On the Move;- children's fashion theater "Enchantress" - "Swan Song";- school of young fashion designers "Kudesnitsa" - "Through Cregg's space";- school of young fashion designers "Kudesnitsa" - "Kaleidosportika"; 1st place: exemplary children's collective children's and youth theater "Visit" - "Whitewashed painted". 

      Competition of individual models

      Age group 11-13 years old3rd place: Anna Shilyaeva (Grazia Fashion Theater, Omutninsk) – "The Beautiful Lady"; 2nd place: Daria Smirnova (Grazia Fashion Theater, Omutninsk) – "The seine came with one fish, with a difficult fish, golden"; 1st place: Creative model Yulia Kiryanova (Grazia Fashion Theater, Omutninsk) – "The Beauty of Winter".

      The age group is 14-18 years old

      3rd place: - Nadezhda Odintsovo ("Designing and modeling clothes", Yaransk) – "Ecoculture";- Anastasia Yanova (Secondary school No. 59) – Everyday model of "Boho City";- Polina Bratukhina (SHUM "The Magician") – "Back to the Future"; 2nd place: Ekaterina Chugunova (children's and Youth fashion theater "Visit") – "Knitted Frosts";- Elizaveta Gorbushina (Secondary school No. 59) Casual clothes "Upcycling"; 1st place: - Polina Bratukhina (SHUM "The Magician") – Creative model "Barbie Gladami Rei Kawakubo";- Maria Filimonova (The Magician shoe) is a casual Oblivion model. 

      In addition to the competition of collections and individual models, competitions of hairdressers and makeup artists were held within the framework of the festival. Fashion shows, sketches, and mockups were held. In addition, a business program for adults was implemented, and career guidance events were held for young participants.
