Only a small part of Kirov residents plans to extend the weekend on March 8.
Despite the fact that International Women's Day falls on Saturday, March 8, and does not entail a shortened working week (an additional day off has been postponed to June 13), only a small part of Kirov residents plan to use this opportunity for a longer rest.
According to a survey conducted by the SuperJob high-paying job search service among the economically active population of Kirov, only 9% of respondents are going to take time off or vacation to extend the weekend on March 8. The majority (60%) do not plan any additional days off, and 16% have not yet decided on their plans.
Interestingly, workers aged 35 to 45 years old (12%) were the most active in planning long-term rest. In addition, the higher the respondent's income, the more likely they are to take advantage of the opportunity to rest longer. Among those whose income exceeds 100,000 rubles per month, 13% plan to extend their days off.
It is also interesting that men are more likely than women to take advantage of vacations and time off.: 12% versus 7%, respectively.
