The Kirov region purchased the residential complex "Voznesensky."
Today, September 3, the Territorial Development Fund (TDF) announced that the Kirov region has acquired the residential complex "Voznesensky," located in Kirov on Lenin Street. Our region has become the first in the country to purchase property from the TDF under the new federal law that allows subjects of the Russian Federation to acquire the Fund's assets directly, without auctions.
As we reported earlier, the Kirov authorities allocated 483.2 million rubles for the purchase of "Voznesensky." The actual sale price was not disclosed by the TDF. By the end of 2026, the government hopes to find a developer who will complete the work under the comprehensive territorial development agreement.
Recall that the residential complex "Voznesensky" was originally built by the company "KCHUS," but it went bankrupt, and the work was suspended for many years. The TDF paid compensation to 77 shareholders, thereby purchasing the entire unfinished project.
