The Hydrometeorological Center of Russia has released preliminary climate forecasts for September for the Kirov region. According to the agency's data, the average monthly air temperature in the region may be higher than the long-term averages.
In Kirov, the climate norm for September is 10.2°C. Predictive models indicate that the actual figure may exceed this mark by more than 1°C. Thus, the average temperature by the end of the month could approach 11.2°C and higher.
As for precipitation, the total amount is likely to remain within the usual values. The norm for the regional center is 56 mm per month. There are no signals of significant droughts or abnormal downpours in the forecast data.
The Hydrometeorological Center emphasizes that long-term forecasts are probabilistic in nature and may be refined in operational updates as September approaches. However, it can already be said that there is a clear trend towards a warm start to autumn in the region.
