In Kirov, the timelines for the return of hot water to homes have been announced.
In Kirov, work on heating and water supply networks continues. At a meeting in the city administration, utility companies reported on the repair and restoration of areas after excavation work. The main contractor in the city remains the branch of PJSC "T Plus." Currently, there are 110 excavations in Kirov, of which work is still ongoing at 46 sites. The remaining areas are in the process of restoring landscaping or preparing documents for handover.
As Sergey Beresnev, the director of the "Kirov" branch of PJSC "T Plus," explained, the main reason for the lack of hot water is hydraulic testing of the networks. According to the schedule drawn up at the request of Governor Alexander Sokolov, buildings that did not have hot water as of August 31 should be connected by September 10.
Currently, 99% of the networks have been pressure tested, with 87% successfully passing the tests. Another 13% of the sites will need to be rechecked after the identified defects are addressed.
The reconstruction of heating networks is also ongoing in the city. Recently, a section of Krasnoarmeyskaya Street from Svoboda to Lenin was opened for traffic. The reconstruction on the section from Lenin to Kazanskaya has been completed; however, specialists are working on the technical connection of one of the buildings.
In the coming days, Kazanskaya Street from Morozovskaya to Profsoyuznaya is expected to be fully opened to traffic. Work at the intersection of Orlovskaya and Kazanskaya is expected to be completed within 10 days.
The head of the Kirov administration, Vyacheslav Simakov, noted that in the fall, the lack of hot water causes additional discomfort for residents. Moreover, after rains, excavation sites turn into sources of mud that spreads across the streets.
Territorial administrations have been instructed to monitor the work of utility companies daily. Any violations of deadlines and landscaping rules must be reported promptly.
