On August 21, 12 employees of the parachute firefighting service of KOGSAU "Lesohrana" returned to the Kirov region from a two-month business trip. They were in the Tomsk region, where they helped fight forest fires.

They descended to the fire sites using a Mi-8 helicopter, with a total of 80 descents made.
