On August 12, a hearing took place regarding the criminal case of fraud in the credit cooperative "Deal and Money." As lawyer Elena Korotkikh told Newsler.ru, the court granted the investigator's request for a preventive measure in the form of detention for one of the defendants — Irina Rybolovleva. The detention period is set until October 8, 2026.
"We requested house arrest, the court did not hear us, so we will try to achieve this on appeal," Korotkikh explained. The lawyer also noted that she considers the court's ruling unfounded and intends to appeal it. The date of the next hearing in the appellate instance is currently unknown.
Earlier, it became known about the detention of a defendant in the case — Anton Chistopashin. He is the founder of the construction company LLC Specialized Developer "Stroicity," which is the developer of the residential complex "Legenda" on Volodarskogo Street, 193. It was this building that the real estate agency "Deal and Money" of Nikita Pavlov was selling.
Recall that on August 8, all offices of the credit cooperative "Deal and Money" in Kirov closed. On the same day, a message appeared in the official group of the organization: "All our offices have ceased operations. Our services will no longer be provided. We apologize."
On August 10, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Kirov region reported the initiation of a criminal case under part 4 of article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation — fraud committed on a particularly large scale. According to the police, more than 500 victims have filed complaints, with total damages exceeding 320 million rubles.
