Shareholders of the cooperative "Business and Money" are collecting signatures for an appeal to the president.

In the victims' chat on the MAX messenger, which has over 3,000 participants, information has emerged about a petition being collected to address Vladimir Putin. According to data from the chat, the organizers have prepared a letter in which the shareholders ask the president to pay attention to the scale of the fraud and expedite the process of returning funds.

The signature collection is organized today, August 12, at Orlovskaya, 52. According to eyewitnesses, about a hundred people have gathered near the building, and the line is moving quickly.

"Lots of people. Standing for 10-15 minutes," participants in the chat report from the scene. The organizers plan to send the appeal to the presidential administration.

Recall that on August 8, all offices of the credit cooperative operating under the brand "Delo i Dengi" closed. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the damage exceeds 320 million rubles, with more than 500 people recognized as victims. However, shareholders claim that the actual number of victims may reach several thousand, and the amount of damage could be in the billions. A criminal case has been initiated under part 4 of article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (fraud on a particularly large scale). According to unofficial data, the founder of the developer of the residential complex "Legenda," Anton Chistopashin, has been detained, but there is no official confirmation of this information.
