In the Kirov region, a Lexus owner's car was seized due to unpaid heating debts.
The bailiffs of the Kirov region conducted a raid using the automated complex "Road Bailiff." In the flow of cars, they identified a foreign car belonging to a person against whom enforcement proceedings had been initiated.
Behind the wheel was the owner of a Lexus RX 300. It turned out that the man had not paid for utilities for several months and had accumulated a debt to "Energosbyt Plus." The debt for heating alone amounted to several tens of thousands of rubles.
Energy workers had gone to court to recover the money. However, on the spot, the car owner did not pay off the debt. As a result, the bailiffs seized the vehicle.
Now, to get the Lexus back, the owner will have to fully pay off the debt, as well as cover the costs associated with the car's towing, state duty, and enforcement fee.
If the man does not do this, the foreign car may be put up for auction. The money obtained from the sale will be directed to pay off the debt and the costs of the enforcement proceedings. If there are any funds left after that, they will be returned to the former owner.
The "Road Bailiff" complex allows checking cars in the flow and identifying owners against whom enforcement proceedings exist based on the state registration number. The system also helps identify debtors for utility services.
Bailiffs remind that seizing a vehicle is one of the measures that can be applied to enforce a court decision.
