At that time, part of the slope collapsed downward, creating a deep pit. No official comments on the causes of the incident had been received at that time. Work has now begun in August.
Recently, the replacement of a section of the drainage system on Naberezhnaya Grina was also completed. As explained by the city administration, this allowed for an increase in the capacity of the storm sewer and prevented further damage to the cobblestone pavement.
In addition, as part of a municipal contract, work on the repair and cleaning of the storm sewer continues in Kirov. By the end of the week, repairs are planned for the wells at houses No. 53, 49, and 49b on Chapayev Street, as well as at house No. 1a on Ivan Popov Street. Specialists will also clean the storm sewer on Sverdlov Street and at house No. 85 on Soviet Street.
