The terminals of the GZhD in the Kirov region processed more than 300 thousand tons of cargo in six months.

      As of the end of January-July 2026, the terminals of the Gorky Railway processed nearly 3 million tons of cargo, reported the press service of the GZhD. The largest processing sites included the Kirov-Kotlassky and Kotelnich-2 stations. Over the seven months, the Kirov-Kotlassky terminal handled 163.6 thousand tons of cargo, while Kotelnich-2 processed 146.5 thousand tons. In comparison, from January to May 2026, these same stations processed 109 thousand and 114.9 thousand tons, respectively. Thus, by mid-year, cargo processing volumes at the Kirov terminals continued to grow. The terminals of the railway provide a full range of logistics services: loading and unloading of cargo, storage in covered warehouses and open areas, delivery by road transport, processing of shipping documents, as well as cleaning and washing of wagons. GZhD clients can remotely order services from terminal and warehouse complexes through the "Personal Account" on the website of JSC "RZD". To optimize cargo transportation, the "CM-Expeditor" service has been developed, which helps to choose a route, secure cargo, process documents, and receive complete freight forwarding support.
