Stolen over a billion: investigation into the financial pyramid case completed
According to the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, Irina Volk, the investigation into the high-profile criminal case of multi-billion fraud has been completed. The materials have already been sent to the prosecutor's office for approval of the indictment, after which the case will be transferred to court.
According to the investigation, the woman attracted money from citizens for more than ten years, promising high returns on investments. People invested their savings, hoping to receive profits, but the promised payments were never made.

As noted by the police, the illegal activities of the suspect were stopped in 2023 by the staff of the Economic Security and Anti-Corruption Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Kirov Region.
1,148 people have been recognized as victims in the criminal case. Among them are residents of the Kirov and Smolensk regions, the Republic of Komi, and Sevastopol. The total amount of damage caused, according to the investigation, exceeds one billion rubles.
The investigation turned out to be large-scale: the volume of the criminal case amounted to 211 volumes. The property of the accused and individuals affiliated with her has been seized. The total value of the seized assets exceeds 219 million rubles.
