In the Kirov region, more than 82 thousand pensioners will receive an increase in their pension.

      Starting from August 1, the branch of the Social Fund of Russia in the Kirov region will recalculate pensions for working retirees. Increased payments will be received by 82,495 residents of the region, for whom employers paid insurance contributions in 2025.

      The recalculation will affect recipients of old-age and disability insurance pensions. Pensions in case of loss of the breadwinner will also increase if insurance contributions were credited to the deceased's personal account that were not taken into account when the payment was initially assigned.

      Retirees will not need to submit an application — the recalculation will be done automatically. The right to an increase remains regardless of whether a person continues to work in 2026 or has already completed their employment.

      The amount of the increase will depend on the number of pension coefficients earned in the previous year. According to current legislation, no more than three pension points can be taken into account during the recalculation. In 2026, the cost of one point is 156.76 rubles, so the maximum increase will not exceed 470.28 rubles.

      Residents of the region will receive payments at the new amount according to the usual schedule — on August 7, 13, and 21.
