In Vyatskie Polyany, a 49-year-old local resident was sentenced for repeatedly driving a vehicle while intoxicated. This was reported by the prosecutor's office of the Kirov region.
As the court established, on the afternoon of April 14, 2025, the woman, showing signs of intoxication, was driving through the streets of Vyatskie Polyany in a "Chevrolet Lacetti." She was stopped by police officers. The offender refused to undergo a medical examination.
It turned out that the woman had previously been held administratively responsible for a similar violation. At that time, she was deprived of her driver's license, but this did not prevent her from getting behind the wheel again.
The court found the resident of Vyatskie Polyany guilty under Part 1 of Article 264.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and sentenced her to 150 hours of compulsory work. In addition, she is prohibited from engaging in activities related to the operation of vehicles for two years.
Furthermore, at the request of the state prosecutor, the court confiscated the convicted woman's car. The "Chevrolet Lacetti" has been transferred to state ownership.
