Kirov residents supported the idea of counting the best result when retaking the Unified State Exam (USE).

      72% of Kirov residents supported the proposal to count the best result for graduates when retaking the Unified State Exam, rather than the last one, as currently stipulated by the existing rules. This data is provided by the "SuperJob" service.

      Those surveyed believe that the new system will help students worry less during exams. In their opinion, if the best score is taken into account, graduates will not be afraid to exercise their right to retake the exam.

      15% of Kirov residents opposed the initiative. They believe that the current order is fairer. Another portion of respondents found it difficult to answer.

      Women support the idea noticeably more often than men. Among young people under 35, 76% of survey participants expressed support, while among residents over 45, it was 65%. Additionally, the initiative is more often approved by people with higher education: 77% compared to 67% among holders of secondary vocational education.

      At the same time, parents of students in grades 10-11 were more reserved. 54% of respondents propose to count the best result when retaking, 16% are against it, and another 30% could not determine their position.

      Not all educators have a clear stance on the initiative either. Among high school teachers, 63% support it, 17% are against, and another 20% found it difficult to answer. According to some educators, the ability to keep the best score may lead to an increase in the number of retakes and an increased burden on the education system, as well as reduce students' responsibility during the first exam attempt.
