In Kotel'nich, three streets remain without water: the water supply project is still not ready.
At the meeting of the Legislative Assembly committee, Deputy Vladimir Ponaryev reminded about a serious problem in Kotel'nich. According to him, three streets in the city still remain without water. On one street, a water column was somehow installed, but then it was dismantled. And the wells have dried up. "Where to get water? The head doesn't answer the phone and doesn't call back," he added.
Minister of Energy and Housing and Utilities Maxim Gornostayev said that this issue was discussed with the administration back in August 2025, and it was proposed to join a federal program and lay water supply networks; for this, the municipality was instructed to prepare project and estimate documentation. The minister added that it was possible to enter the program for 2027, but the administration never sent the project, so federal funds have not been obtained yet.
Chairman of the government Mikhail Sandalov reported that he had seen appeals regarding this problem, and there is indeed a mechanism for obtaining federal funds; everything is just being delayed by the development of the project. He promised to take the issue under control and provide assistance to the city. "Kotel'nich will have to be taken on a trailer," the official summarized.
