28 thousand violations and 74 criminal cases: the prosecutor's office summarized the results of the half-year.

      The Prosecutor's Office of the Kirov Region summarized the results of its work for the first half of 2026. It became known that the agency's employees identified more than 28,000 violations, brought over 5,000 individuals to disciplinary and administrative responsibility, and initiated 74 criminal cases.

      In total, the prosecutor's office reviewed more than 16,000 appeals. One in four was satisfied. More than 7,400 citizens attended personal receptions with agency employees.

      There was also a reception for participants of the special military operation and their family members. In total, more than 600 people from this category contacted the prosecutor's office.

      In addition, the prosecutor's office addressed violations of labor rights affecting over 900 workers who did not receive their salaries on time. After intervention, employers settled debts amounting to over 40 million rubles.

      Regarding disabled individuals, more than 500 violations of legislation were identified. The rights of more than 200 disabled individuals and elderly people were restored.

      In the healthcare sector, over 400 violations were uncovered, including during the construction and repair of hospitals, equipment provision, and employment. More than 100 patients received medical devices and medications thanks to the prosecutor's office.

      Also, over the course of six months, the rights of more than 6,700 minors were restored. 26 criminal cases were initiated.

      In the housing and utilities sector, 4,000 violations were eliminated. Consumers were refunded 3.4 million rubles. The debt to resource-supplying organizations for utility resources decreased by 6 million rubles. Tariffs for the population were adjusted by 165 million rubles.

      In the field of environmental protection, 1,700 violations were established. Access to 19 plots near water bodies was ensured for citizens.

      Additionally, a recalculation of waste disposal fees was made, totaling over 3.3 million rubles. 51 illegal dumps were eliminated.

      In terms of business, more than 1,300 violations were established. To prevent undue pressure on businesses, the prosecutor's office rejected 285 applications (61.7%) for unscheduled inspections.

      In the fight against corruption, over 1,400 violations were identified. More than 400 officials were brought to disciplinary responsibility.

      1,830 lawsuits totaling 243 million rubles were sent to the courts. The main areas of work include the protection of property, labor, housing, pension rights, safeguarding the rights of disabled individuals and elderly people, large families, and minors.
