Pedestrian crossings will be illuminated on the highway in the Kirov region.
According to the regional Ministry of Transport, more than 180 supports with LED lights will be installed at 15 unregulated pedestrian crossings on the Kirov — Malmyzh — Vyatskiye Polyany highway in the Malmyzh district. In addition, the crossings will be duplicated with new road signs and the markings will be updated.
The work will take place on the section from the turn to the village of Azhim to the village of Yangulovo. The modernization of pedestrian crossings is part of a systematic effort to reduce road accidents within the framework of the national project "Infrastructure for Life."
Recall that on July 9, we reported that the updating of road markings on regional and intermunicipal highways in the Kirov region had been completed. A total of more than 3,800 km of edge lines, 1,200 km of axis lines, and over 3,100 linear meters at pedestrian crossings were applied.
