The Vyatskopolyansky Interdistrict Prosecutor's Office of the Kirov Region supported the state prosecution in the criminal case against a 35-year-old local resident. The man was found guilty under paragraph "z" of part 2 of article 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (intentional infliction of serious harm to health, dangerous to life, using an object used as a weapon).
Everything happened on November 23, 2025, in the premises of the "Bingo" cafe, located in the city of Sosnovka. A conflict erupted between the defendant and the victim. Feeling animosity, the man grabbed a knife and struck his opponent in the chest. The injury sustained was classified as serious harm to health, threatening the victim's life.
The court agreed with the position of the state prosecutor. In sentencing, the previous convictions of the defendant were taken into account — for theft and a similar offense against health. This allowed him to be recognized as a particularly dangerous recidivist.
The punishment is 4 years of imprisonment. The man will serve his sentence in a special regime correctional colony.
