In Kirov, a girl will receive 75 thousand after being attacked by a Staffordshire terrier.

      According to the Kirov region prosecutor's office, the incident occurred on July 9, 2025, near house No. 1 on Krasnoarmeyskaya Street. An American Staffordshire Terrier, which the owner kept without proper control, bit a child on the leg.

      After the incident, the police conducted a procedural check. However, it was not possible to hold the dog's owner administratively liable for violating animal care requirements — the statute of limitations had expired.

      In defense of the rights of the minor, the Novovyatsky district prosecutor's office filed a lawsuit in court for compensation for moral damages. The court granted the supervisory authority's claims and ordered the dog's owner to pay the victim 75,000 rubles.

      The execution of the court decision is under the prosecutor's office's control.
