In Kirovo-Chepetsk, a combat veteran has not been provided with the housing he is entitled to for 18 years.
The situation became known after a man appealed to the deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Kirov Region from the LDPR, Vladimir Ponaryev. The veteran participated in combat operations in the Chechen Republic. He currently lives with his wife and two children in an apartment measuring 36.3 square meters. The man was registered as in need of housing back in 2008. Despite being third in line today, he has still not received the housing he is entitled to by law. Following the deputy's inquiry, the Prosecutor's Office of the Kirov Region organized an inspection. As a result, the information was sent to the regional government with a demand to allocate funding and provide the veteran with a comfortable living space. The implementation of the supervisory authority's requirements remains under control.
