The "United Credit Bureau" published a ranking of regions in Russia based on the number of applications for self-imposed credit bans. In this ranking, the Kirov region took 30th place. In June 2026, 11,060 local residents imposed a self-ban, while 2,310 people lifted theirs. Since the service began, the numbers are 259,590 and 27,570 people, respectively. Currently, a self-ban is in place for 213,390 Kirov residents, or 19% of the total population.

A few years ago, a collection agency rented an office next to mine. There were three little guys in glasses. But their voices were very well trained. It was summer, hot, and the doors to the offices were all open. I heard them roaring at people on the phone and intimidating them. Then the police started visiting them.
