In Nagorsk, an employee was unlawfully dismissed for absenteeism.
According to the Prosecutor's Office of the Kirov Region, the inspection was conducted after a complaint from an employee of one of the individual entrepreneurs. It was established that the employee was fired for absenteeism; however, gross violations of labor legislation occurred during the termination of the employment contract. In particular, the wording of the dismissal order contradicted the official documentation, which confirmed that the man was present at his workplace. In this regard, the prosecutor filed a lawsuit demanding that the dismissal be declared illegal. The court agreed with the arguments of the supervisory authority, reinstated the man at work, and awarded him unpaid wages for the period of forced absenteeism, as well as compensation for moral damages. The total amount of payments exceeded 60,000 rubles. The Prosecutor's Office noted that the enforcement of the court's decision is under control.
